Founded in 2019 and based in Miami, Florida, Look at the Data helps businesses move from scattered files, manual reports, and disconnected spreadsheets into structured dashboards, data warehousing, AI-ready systems, executive decision tools, and agentic AI workflows.
Our work is designed for companies at different stages of maturity. Some clients are still relying on spreadsheets and manual reporting. Others are ready to modernize a data warehouse, automate workflows, and prepare their operations for AI. Both are good places to start.
Alex spent over two decades inside enterprise data organizations before founding Look at the Data - writing the SQL and software, building the warehouses and pipelines, and eventually leading the global teams responsible for delivering analytics to thousands of business users.
He started this practice because the same capability that large corporations spend millions on is within reach of far smaller businesses. His current focus is applied AI engineering: making the tools genuinely useful for reporting, automation, and everyday decisions, without the hype and without putting your data somewhere it should not be.
AI readiness does not start with buying another tool. It starts with knowing where your data lives and which decisions need support.
We define what information must stay private before introducing any AI tool, and we design workflows around those boundaries.
